Who we are
NeuroSpark was launched to bring people together, with an eye on whole person and whole community health. (That’s huge!) Yes, it is, but starts with values: compassion, healing, togetherness, play, and learning. Then, we go from there.
The needs of the community are dynamic and complex, but we want to do what we can to find out how we can best use our skills and knowledge to help everyone work toward optimal health … to learn and heal in community!
For now, we are offering education to professionals who want to connect and learn more about psychedelics, ketamine, and/or holistic health topics.
Also, please come back often for news, blog posts, and updates - and let us know what we can do for you and the wider world! First, NeuroSpark is about whole person and whole community wellness.
Ketamine and Psychedelic Learning:
These sessions are specifically designed for healthcare workers in a variety of settings. Tailored teachings aim to equip you, your colleagues, and your employees with valuable insights and practical knowledge, enabling you to enhance your approaches and effectively support and treat clients and patients.
NeuroSpark places a high value on community (if you couldn’t tell) and shared learning experiences, and hopes to bring professionals together to discuss some of the most complex, awe-inspiring, and exciting new treatments.
about Dr. Geller
Jamarie (or Jamo!) founded NeuroSpark Consulting to foster community. One need she noted in her area was for psychedelic and ketamine education, so she founded NeuroSpark with the goal of bringing what she can to other professions, and bringing professionals together.
She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, a Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, a medical doctorate from Michigan State College of Human Medicine, and has trained in adult and child psychiatry at the University of Michigan, where she is currently the chief fellow.
She has also been trained by Lykos (formerly MAPS) and Fluence in psychedelic and MDMA-assisted psychotherapy and has clinical experience using ketamine. She has been involved in clinical trials using psilocybin, and has co-authored peer-reviewed articles about psychedelic and ketamine therapy, presented about this topic at her home institution, and presented her research at national psychiatry conferences.
She is passionate about bridging divides, making connections, and teaching and learning to use a wide variety of tools to enhance growth and healing.
